Maruti Suzuki S-Presso launched at price 3.69 Lakhs

   Introdution 

Maruti has launched its latest budget entry-level car in the Indian market. It is called S-Presso. It is a crossover segment which is being called a Mini SUV. The Maruti Suzuki S-Presso is placed above the most selling Suzuki Alto. The name of the car is inspired from Espresso coffee and will stand out for bold and strong characteristics as stated by the Suzuki.

Now coming down for what you are looking, the specs,The S-presso is powered by a BS-VI compliant 998cc 3-cylinder petrol engine churning out 67bhp and torque output of 90NM. The car is being offered in 5-speed manual transmission or a 5-speed automatic transmission as per your need. This 1L engine returns a claimed fuel economy of 21.5KMPL. Simply the machine is powered with a BS-IV compliant alto K series engine which has already proven itself way before

   Exteriors 

The car has given an SUV stance with a 2380mm of wheelbase which is 20 mm larger than Alto and 71 mm more than its rival kwid . Headroom shouldn't be a concern Height of 1549mm is tall and width of 1520 mm. It properly looks like a mini urban SUV. The thing which isn't SUVish is its 13-inch wheels with 145 section tyre but hey we cannot complain about it considering the price. The mini SUV weighs just 725KG dry.

The Maruti Suzuki S-Presso has given a front grille inspired from Brezza with four vertical slants and chrome garnished Suzuki logo in the middle. The front bumper has been blackened out. The wheel arches are square and are bulging out giving its muscular look. Currently, steel rims are being offered with wheel caps. You even get horizontal fog lamps in higher variants. The B-pillar has been blackened out and it gets body cladding on the side skirts to give its SUV look. From the rear car looks clean with C shaped tail lamps and a blackened rear bumper. You also get body-colored ORVM and door handles as well.

   Interiors 

The theme of the interior is black and you are welcomed with a 3 spoke steering unit with mounted audio controls which is first in segment feature. What you will different is that the speedometer has been shifted to middle and is a digital unit, digital fuel gauge, two trip meter and odometer are placed below it. There is a touchscreen display in the middle which has Android Auto and Apple Car Play connectivity. This whole instrumentation and the informative display is surrounded in a circle which may be body-colored. A manual Air conditioning with 4 vents and you can get a body-colored surround for AC vents. It has door pockets on front doors and two cup holders in the front. The rear seats are bench type and you get headrests for both seats. It features a 275L boot space which is adequate.

   Safety 

The car is equipped with front disc brakes and rear drum brakes.It also has Anti lock Braking system.It features two airbags for driver and co passenger and also has seat belt warning alarm.

   Colors and Price 

The car is currently available in  Metallic Granite Grey, Pearl Starry Blue, Sizzle Orange, Metallic Silky Silver and Solid Fire Red.
