HYUNDAI SANTRO 2019

OVERVIEW

So from the Hyundai Korean company, the all-new Santro comes.We all know that Santro discontinued at years back. But now the company launches the Santro in hatchback body type. The brand new Santro comes with many exteriors,interior, and other features that currently change than the older model of Santro. Now Santro can drive in manual and AMT option. And the interior of the car has an all-black interior that looks nice.And price range from 4.29 to 5.78 lakh. You also get on steering mounted audio control, rear wipers and power windows as well as 7.0 inches touchscreen infotainment system.

So let’s see review.

EXTERIOR

The new Santro is a bit shorter than the older model but is broader now. The height of the car is perfect, which is good,

probably for a longer person to sit correctly.

Start from the front. The headlamps are of angular pattern design, and they are similar to older grand i10 headlamps. The fog lamps which are positioned just below the headlamps match nicely with the front chrome grille.

At the back, the tail lamps are looking good, but they are shorter than the older Santro model. There is a high mounted stop lamp on the rear window which have five bulbs are embedded in it by which high visibility obtained. The rear bumper has a black-applique that hides details on the bumper. The micro antenna is also added to enhance the design.

On the side, the turn indicators ORVM looks good, and there is a 14-inch steel rim with a wheel cover, but you don’t get alloy wheels. In terms of design, there are Z shaped character lines on the side of body which look very great.

INTERIOR

When you get entered in santro you find some interesting features.

The dashboard looks beautiful and user-friendly with a dual-tone color theme. The Santro comes with an all-black tone interior, which looks reasonable. There is a 7.0-inch touchscreen with the infotainment system and have apple car play, android auto, and Bluetooth connectivity, and there is also power outlet and USB ports.

The Santro sound quality is good if you like sound music at a premium level. The cooling system of Santro has rear AC vents and manual ac.In front, propeller fins design like air-con vents is there. The whole cooling system is excellent and gives better cooling.

The driving position is a high standard, and the comfort of seats is good, but you can not adjust the seat height of the driver side. And if you're tall, then your knee has to adjust in less space at rear seats.

There is also include power buttons for power windows, but power windows buttons not include a back-light, and this makes it hard to find buttons in the dark. The steering wheel is convenient and easy to grab, but unlike the logo is not of chrome, and that makes dull-looking, and also steering wheel can not be adjusted.

Its boot space, which is not getting large, as you know, because the car is small. But the luggage gets fit nicely in the boot. And to open up the boot, you have to follow the traditional method of opening the boot, by key or open by lever present at the front driver seat.

ENGINE,PERFORMANCE AND DYNAMICS

The Hyundai Santro comes with a 1.1 petrol engine with power output 69ps at 5500 rpm and 10.1 kgm torque at 4500 rpm. The engine is 4 cylinder inline and produces almost zero vibration. The engine gets noisy when the engine at higher rpm. Another engine that is Bi-fuel 1.1L that runs on CNG and petrol. On petrol engine produces power 69ps at 5500 rpm and torque 10.1 kgm at 5,500 rpm and on CNG power produces is 59ps at 5500 rpm and torque 8.6 kgm at 4,500 rpm

The engine performance on the city and highway is excellent. The engine delivers power smoothly when we change gears, but the acceleration is fairly good. The 5-speed manual transmission is quite good because the gear shifting is smooth, and power transmitted by the engine via transmission is great. On the other hand, AMT is also good, but if you drive fast and harshly, there is jerky power is feel because of transmission, but if you drive fairly, the AMT performs better.

The suspension of all new 2019 Santro is great because it gave you more comfort and stability while driving your car at corners or on bumps, etc.while the car braking isn’t bad all.
