Introduction

Honda Grazia is a 125cc scooter based out of Activa 125. It is a much more sporty and youth centric scooter. It gets a macho and muscular designing which makes it sporty. We are in June 2020 and Honda has updated it to match the BS6 regulations and give the styling a level above. Grazia competes with the TVS NTorq, Hero Maestro 125, Suzuki Burgman Street and the Activa 125. So let's see what we get in the new Grazia.

Engine

As the Grazia is based out of an Activa 125, it uses the same engine. It is powered by a fan-cooled, BS-VI compliant 124cc fuel injected petrol engine. This engine produces 8 bhp of max power and 10.9 Nm of max torque. This engine is mated to a belt driven CVT transmission. It is one the first commuter scooter to get fuel injection. Programmed Fuel Injection (PGMFi) has multiple sensors and then the fuel and air supply is done according to the need to enhance the performance and fuel efficiency.

Brakes, Suspension & Wheels

To stop those 8 bhp Grazia is equipped by a rear 130mm drum brakes and a 190 mm optional disc or a 130mm drum brake in the front. These are shared with the Activa 125. Grazia uses a under-bone chassis to support the structure. It is loaded with front telescopic forks and a 3-step adjustable hydraulic mono shock for the rear. For the wheels it gets, a 12inch black alloy wheel with 90/90-12 tire in the front and a 10inch alloy with 90/90-10 tire for the rear. The ground clearance has been increased to 171mm.

Styling

Grazia receives a major styling update. On the front we get a new redesigned sharper cowl. On the cowl we get DIO like LED DRLs. The cowl get a black visor like treatment. Coming to the apron, the black treatment has been carried over. The LED headlamps has been resigned and now looks mean. On the top of headlamp lies the swept up turn indicator. The front mudguard also gets sleek styling.

Coming to the side, the dual-tone treatment has been carried over. The seat height is lower at 708 mm. The lower side panel gets sharper cues and a black Honda sticker. The big side panel also gets some sleek line to give it a muscular look. It gets aluminium foot-pegs and body coloured grab handles. The exhaust gets a new dual tone cover to protect us from the heat.

Now on the rear we get new Jet style tail lamps which looks absolutes gorgeous. There is also carbon finish on the tail-lamp cluster. The turn indicators are mounted higher than the tail-lamp.
