Tata Tiago Limited Edition launched

Tata motors has introduced a new special edition for its entry level hatchback, Tiago. It is named as Tata Tiago Limited Edition hence will only be produced in limited number or for limited period but that hasn't been clarified by the manufacturer.

Tata Tiago Limited Edition is based on its XT Trim. To ease out the position, Tiago is available in XE, XT, XZ, XZ+, XZ+ Dual Tone, XZA, XZA+ and XZA+ Dual Tone variants. The limited edition is placed above the XT and Below the XZ trim.

For the changes part, it gets new all black 14-inch alloy wheels. Rest everything is same as on the XT trim. We used to get 14-inch steel wheels on XE, XT and XZ trims and 15-inch alloy wheels on XZ+ and above trims. So this is a new addition on exterior front. Visually everything is same.

On the inside too there is a similar story. We get a 5.0 inch Harman touch screen infotainment system and it is equipped with voice commands and on board navigation system. Reverse parking sensors which are connected to display, video playback and a rear parcel shelf. Rest the features are based on XT trim. We get dual front airbags, keyless entry, power windows and electrically foldable ORVMs steering mounted controls and the list goes on.

Powering Tiago Limited Edition is a Naturally Aspirated 1.2L petrol engine. This engine produces 86 bhp and 113Nm.This variant is only available in 5-speed manual transmission. This could do a top speed of 150 kmph and return a mileage of 23kmpl.

Limited edition is available in Flame Red, Pearlescent White, and Daytona Grey colour options only. And for the price it is available at Rs. 5.79 lakhs ex-showroom. Tata motors are charging extra 29,000 rupees for the limited edition features than the regular XT trim. It is priced 16000 lower than the XZ trim. Tata has chosen the XT trim as the base for limited edition as it is the one which brings the most sales and it the mid spec variant of the Tiago.
