Kia Sonet First Anniversary Edition launched at Rs 10.8 lakhs || MotoJunkie.in

 

Kia Sonet has been a successful car of Kia in India. it has played a significant role in Kia India's success. Recently Kia Sonet has passed 1 lakh sale mark. To celebrate this Kia has a limited First Anniversary Edition for Kia Sonet. It is based on HTX trim. Kia Sonet Anniversary edition gets 1.0 Turbo Gdi engine and 1.5 litre diesel engine option. Prices for this starts at Rs. 10.79 lakhs, which is 40 thousand more than the standard HTX Sonet.

  Exterior

Kia Sonet Anniversary Edition gets few additions over the standard car. It gets a design inspired from  Aurochs (bull) . On the front we get a silver skid plate which extends to bumper from sides and looks like bull's horn. It gets tangerine inserts on it. The grill gets rectangular slots cut out of it.

On the Tiger nose grill, Sonet gets tangerine accents and a anniversary edition badge (like the GT badge). On sides too, t gets the same silver skid plate treatment, here the black plastic door sills now get a tangerine line to it. The hub centre of the diamond cut R16 alloy wheels also gets tangerine circle to it.

 

On rear, again a silver skid plate with bull design. It is designed in a way that it looks like it got dual exhaust ports but they are fake. Orange accents are provided around the fake ports. 

  Interiors

Interiors on Anniversary edition are similar to the standard model with no change at all. No accents or colour change here. Looks very sophisticated and classy.

Kia Sonet Anniversary Edition is available in four colour options only:

Aurora Black Pearl, Gravity Grey, Steel Silver and Glacier White Pearl

Since this is only available in HTX variant prices starts from Rs. 10.79 lakhs

Sonet EA  turbo Petrol DCT – Rs 11.49 lakh

Sonet EA diesel MT – Rs 11.09 lakh

Sonet EA diesel AT – Rs 11.89 lakh

This is a limited edition car and will only be on sale till March 2022.
