OVERVIEW
So, here is the all-new swift that launched in India. However, the swift is the top-selling car in the market. And its journey started in 2005, and now is the 3rd generation model launched. Its price range starts from 5.14 to 8.84 lakhs. The body type is a hatchback. The overall design of the swift is sporty and looks excellent .so without wasting time. Let’s start its review.
DESIGN
So, the
design of swift now optimized than the older model, the design of swift like
sporty and youthful. There is some change in the weight of new swift, which
becomes less than the older model. The gross weight for petrol variants is
1305kg, and for diesel variants are 1405kg. The company design the chassis and
use a material likes that the weight of the car to be reduced as a minimum and
obtained high strength. However, the car is now wider.
The front
bumper and multi-slat grille looks good with fog lamps are below added on it,
which looks classic, however, on grille chrome is not added. The smooth
contours and ridges add bit volume to the design, and alloy wheels of size are
15 inches, and wheels are precision cut two-tone alloy wheels(available on top
z+ trim)and 14-inch alloy wheels in low variants.
INTERIOR
In new swift, there is include flat bottom 3 spoke steering wheel. And on the dashboard, there is add like other cars have a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with apple car play and android connectivity and their also reversing camera display and automatic climate control. On both sides of the dashboard include rectangular design cons, but in the center, circular design cons are there, so the feeling of a kind like premium.

somehow is less space for tall passengers.
There is
also a height adjustment feature in the seat, and the rear seats spilt in 60:40
ratio. The steering wheel can also be tilt( but this only obtained in top-spec
z trim).On the other hand, steering is an electric type and has mounted audio
control that can easily operatable. The ORVM also looks cool, and they are
electrically adjustable and foldable. The smart key is also there to operate
many operations of the car. There is boot space increased in swift up to 268
liters than the older model.

The engine
mated to the manual and amt transmission,while with amt
transmission, there is no felling of jerkiness via changing gears like in other
segments that have this problem, while the AMT transmission is smooth and
convenient to use.
The amt
transmission is beneficial when you struck at traffic, or you don’t like to
push the clutch pedal again and again.
But there
is some kind of power lag feeling. But overall, the performance is excellent
given by AMT while amt is available in v and z trims.
Drive with manual
transmission is smooth, and gears change smoothly. To reduce the NVH level, the
Maruti Suzuki adds insulation on the engine to overcome unusual sound produced
by the engine.
The swift
is quietly stable on corners at high speed. And steering weighs up well at high
speed.
The tire
grips more during hard cornering and make the car understeer. Talking about
ride quality and compare to diesel version, we get more stability and
performance than the petrol version because of the difference in gross weight
between petrol and diesel of swift.
