Tata has been doing these different edition for their cars now.  They had Black Edition for Harrier earlier then Camo edition for Harrier, now there is Dark edition for Harrier, Nexon, Nexon EV and Altroz. This was not sufficient so Safari is now launched in Gold edition. This will premier for remaining IPL 2021 held in UAE. We are here to experience in detail what is actually this Gold Editon.

  Exterior

Safari is available in two exterior shades for Gold Edition: White and there's a coffee bean black. The roof is contrasted in gloss black. Since the name says Gold, all the chrome bits are now seen in Gold colour. The Tri arrow grill, Tata logo and headlamps underline is gold. 

On the sides, the chrome door handles and roof rail mounted Safari Badge are now gold. There is a #Gold badge on the front fender but design is not like shield as we saw on #Dark edition, it is horizontal in design. The chrome under the window line is removed. Then we get Charcoal black diamond cut Alloy wheels in 18 inch configuration as in regular Safari. 

On the rear profile, the golden Tata Logo and Safari badge will tell you that it's a Gold edition, Rest all looks the same. 

  Interior

In the interior too, Chrome accents are now Gold accents. Remember the big fake wood insert on dashboard, now it is a fake marble. With white exteriors we'll get Mont Blanc marble finish, while darker one gets dark marble finish. 

In the white Safari, you we will also have a thick chrome underlining the marble, centre console and spread across the width of the car, wile in darker one it is finished in piano black. 

Door Handles, AC vents and instrument console gets gold inserts

Oyster white seat upholstery and #Dark embroidery on front two headrests. 

  Features

Gold edition gets some features add-ons to be on par with competitors. Starting with seats, the first and second row now gets ventilated seats. 

The Air Conditioner gets built in Air purifier, it checks and regulates AQI in the cabin. Stats are displayed on 8.8 in touchscreen. 

There is a wireless charging pad near the USB and Aux port in the centre console. More over, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto can also connect now Wirelessly

Tata Safari Gold Edition is based on XZ+ and XZA+ trims and rest all features are same. These are available in both 6-Seater and 7-saeter configurations. 

Price of    Tata Safari XZ+ Gold Edition: Rs. 21.90 lakhs
